Our classes

At Katoomba Clay, each term runs in a 10 week sequence, with each weekly class building on the previous week's skills and knowledge with time spent at the wheel each week.

We offer 6 classes each week (from which you will select one) and a make-up class is offered on Saturday should you miss your class during the week.

Classes are 90 minutes long and students will be taught the wedging techniques of hand building, wheel throwing, trimming, glazing and firing.

Cost

Each 10-class (10 week) semester is $300 which includes all clay, potting tools and glazes. Fees are due prior to the start of the semester.

Finished, glazed pottery will be charged a fixed rate of $14 per kilogram
